  • Template to be used to create a Product (vector only)

  • Areas under the National Parks Act 1975, conservation reserves and metropolitan open space parks under the policy control of the Land Management Policy Branch. This dataset replaced PK_PARKRES in April 2013.

  • This dataset is created by sketching in the current burnt area from field data and linescan data. This data is updated every time the area of the fire is updated during an incident. The area is captured in the incident mapping system eMap.The final fire shape is then combined with the planned burn area data to create the FIRE_HISTORY dataset. This data includes both FFMVIC and CFA fires. . The layer will support fire prevention and suppression activities of DSE, and will be used to generate the FIRE100_{year} fire history datasets. This layer is the source of disturbance datasets used in the analysis of old-growth forest.

This data is updated every time the area of the fire is updated during an incident. The area is captured in the incident mapping system eMap. This data includes both FFMVIC and CFA fires. This data is provided in kml format. The data is only available for the current fire season and shows all fires with a status of Going, controlled or contained (UC1 and UC2) and Safe are included in this feed. . The layer will support fire prevention and suppression activities of DSE, and will be used to generate the FIRE100_{year} fire history datasets. • Regions showing the extent of Mining Licences currently lodged with Earth Resources Regulations. The boundaries are derived from a combination of entering graticular boundaries (exact AMG co-ordinates) and digitizing along areas of land status (Earth Resources version of landmmt100) which are unable to be mined or explored. Refer to the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Act (MRSDA) 1990 for more detail. (MIN is included in ML) NOTE: For GeoVic, "Operating Gold Mines" are a subset of this dataset where during the current financial year the tenement recorded production in excess of 100 kg Au, and/or are currently at an advanced stage of resource development with a target production rate of at least 100kg Au per year.

  • This amalgamated layer is made up of several layers. These are: Tailings Licences - Expired (tlhst), Gold Mining Licences - Expired (gmlhst), Mineral Leases - Expired (milhst), Expired Extractive Industry Work Authorities (ewahst), Expired Mining Licences (minhst), Exploration Licences - Not Active (1973+) (elhist), Exploration Licence Moratorium Period Areas (mp), Proposed Work Authorities (wap), Mining Licences (min), Extractive Industry Work Authorities (ewa), Exploration Licences (el). The boundaries are derived from a combination of entering graticular boundaries (exact AMG co-ordinates) and digitizing along areas of land status (Minerals and Petroleum version of landmmt100) which are unable to be mined or explored. Refer to the Mineral Resources Development Act (MRDA) for more detail.

  • Onshore and offshore, oil and gas, transmission pipelines under the following Acts: Offshore Commonwealth waters - Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas storage Act 2006 Onshore - Pipelines Act 2005 WARNING! This is a working dataset and it contains missing and incorrect information. If you have queries about the data please call 03 9027 4436 to discuss. Location accuracies of the pipelines vary as much as +/- 200m

  • This dataset is created by collating the current burnt area from field data and linescan data over the season. The final shapes are the final extent of both bushfires and planned burns. This data includes both FFMVIC and CFA fires and this data is QA by staff in both agencies. It is captured on emap and the final fire scar is downloaded to collated fire history. The final data is provided as a feed and is merged with the fireweb data to show fire cause. The data is limited to the last 10 years.

  • Datasets relating to geological sites, geologically significant features & mine shafts. Collected for Earth Resources within DSDBI

  • Contains Petroleum Wells. Populated from original well completion reports. This is a different dataset from GEDIS boreholes (purpose = petroleum). The wells in both datasets overlap in most cases. This dataset is actively maintained.
