This project collected high accuracy LiDAR data covering Central Highlands FMA plus Thomson Catchment Extension and Baw Baw extension. From the raw LiDAR data, a suite of elevation products was generated including 1m DEM. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an airborne remote sensing technique for rapid collection of terrain data. The sensor used for this LiDAR project collected XYZ and Intensity data for first and last return by bouncing a pulse from the aircraft to the surface that enables the height and intensity values to be calculated. Project Products: DEM and raw LiDAR.

Captured as part of the 2007-8 CIP program this 0.35m photography was digitally acquired using a ZI DMC camera system and includes 3 visible bands. The imagery has been fully orthorectified and tiled into 3.5km tiles. It is available in both TIFF and ECW compressed format.

The 2007-8 South-West Region LiDAR - Corangamite Project consists of high accuracy LiDAR data for selected areas in Corangamite CMA. It has been aquired to support projects being undertaken by Local Government and Catchment Management Authorities. The survey area comprises approximately 12,000 square kilometres and has been divided for two types acquistion. One is 15cm data and the other is 50cm data. 35cm 3 band photography over Local Government Areas of Ballarat, Moorabool, Golden Plains, Surf Coast, Colac-Otway, Corangamite and Moyne
