Description
Derivation of this dataset uses 2000 ha as the minimum polygon size and 5000 m as the generalize weed tolerance. Processing details are defined in the Arc/Info aml tree100_simple.aml as follows: drop source cover items that may prevent dissolve working properly remove undersize tree cover polygons in source cover populate undersize hole polygons with a present value dissolve out undersize holes generalize remaining features populate undersize hole polygons created by the generalize with a present value populate large orphan tree cover polygons created by the generalize with a present value dissolve out undersize holes remove any remaining undersize tree cover polygons created by the generalize dissolve out any undersize holes within holes remove any label points in the world poly populate large orphan tree polygons created by the generalize with a present value
