2011-12 Alpine Resorts - Elevation & Photography
project:
cep03-2011-12_alpine-resorts
Full waveform LiDAR and orthorectified aerial photography were captured over the six Victorian alpine resorts between November
2011 and January 2012. The LiDAR was used to generate a 1m gridded digitial elevation model and 0.5 metre contours with a
vertical accuracy of +/- 20cm. Road centre lines and building footprints within the resort areas were also created from the
aerial photography. The primary purpose of this information is to inform the assement of bushfire risk and planning of new
development in the alpine resort areas.
