Description

Title
Recreation Carpark
Alternate title
RECWEB_CARPARK
Purpose
This dataset provides spatial and classification information on carparks (ie. carpark type and number of bays) to assist staff in their management and maintenance and to promote these carparks for public use. This dataset replaces the RFDB_CARPARK dataset.

Supplemental Information
History: Formerly RFDB_CARPARK December, 2018 Addition of Unique Feature Identifier (UFI), a combination of the entity id and update date. Incremental update is enable using the UFI numbers. Current Design Issues: Recreation Facilites Database datatsets are currently captured as individual shapefiles which are validated, merged and migrated to the FORESTS schema of the corporate SDE evironment via an Arc/Info aml based process. Related Documents: None This dataset replaces the RFDB_CARPARK The table RECWEB_FAC_CARPARK is used to create the table structure. Points are created in Oracle Spatial using the lat and lon data.

Lineage

Statement
Dataset Source: Primary dataset based on GPS field work. The source table for the RECWEB_CARPARK is RECWEB_FAC_CARPARK. This is a data dump from the Recweb database. The latitude and longitude are used to create the point layers on engine13. Dataset Originality: Primary
Description
Collection Method: Trimble pro XR GPS with external atenna.
Description
All data has been post processed by base stations. A customised processing system screens the data to ensure all serial numbers are unique and to detect spelling errors.

Attribute Quality
Comments
Recreation Facility attributes were collected on site. The majority of the attributes are from drop down lists which minimises errors.

Positional Accuracy
Comments
Data has been collected with a Trimble pro XR GSP with an external antenna. The majority of points have sub metre accuracy, detailed in the attributes. The upper limit of accuracy is within 10m for 95% of the data. All data has been post processed using GPSnet base stations.

Conceptual Consistency
